I am a recent upstate NY transplant who is searching for some land to hunt on. My order of priorities are: Bowhunting, goose hunting and bird hunting (pheasant or dove). I hunt by myself or bring one of my young children with me for a day. Any area within 1-2 hours of Charlotte would be great. I would even consider a hunting club. Any recommendations are appreciated.

just like alot of others I too am looking for property to lease for hunting. Up to 4 hours drive is ok. Willing to follow guidlines set by land owner and will police area to make sure all is clean and neat. Still hunts only ( no dogs ) Most hunts I will be alone but bring daughters and girlfriend one or two hunts and pre season scouting. Looking for a long term opportunity to be able to share with my daughters for years to come.
